LoanBuddies is a product of The Loan Buddies, LLC ("The Loan Buddies, LLC", "LoanBuddies", "we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are and who we serve

The Loan Buddies, LLC provides workflow management software to businesses — primarily loan processing companies and the professionals who work inside them. Our customers are businesses. We are not a lender, a mortgage broker, or a financial services provider, and we do not offer loans or financial products.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Demo and contact requests: your name, company, work email and, if you provide it, your mobile phone number.
• Account information: the name, email and company of each user on a customer account.
• Support requests: whatever you choose to include when you contact us.
• Messaging consent: if you tick the SMS consent box on our form, we record that you consented, the exact wording you agreed to, the date and time, and the IP address the consent came from.

Information our customers put into the product

Businesses using LoanBuddies enter information about the files they are working on. That content belongs to the customer. We process it on their behalf in order to run the service, and we do not use it for our own purposes.

Information collected automatically

Standard server and security logs, including IP address, browser type and timestamps.

How we use information

• To respond to demo requests and schedule demonstrations.
• To provide, maintain and secure the software.
• To reply to support requests you send us.
• To send account and service notifications, such as trial status.
• To meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations, including consent records.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build marketing profiles from it.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you tick the SMS consent box on our demo request form, The Loan Buddies, LLC may send you text messages about the demo you requested and about your account — demonstration scheduling and confirmations, replies to support requests you have sent us, and account notifications such as trial status. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages, and we do not text people who have not asked us to.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is optional and is never a condition of purchasing anything from us.

Mobile numbers collected for text messaging are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing, and SMS consent is never transferred to anyone else. The only parties that ever see a mobile number are the service providers listed below who deliver the messages on our behalf.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only to the extent they need it to do their job:

• Hosting and infrastructure — to run the website and application.
• Database and storage — to store account and application data.
• Messaging and email providers — to deliver the texts and emails you have asked to receive.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

How long we keep information

We keep demo and contact requests for as long as needed to follow up and for our business records. We keep SMS consent and opt-out records for as long as required to demonstrate compliance with messaging regulations. Customer account content is kept for the life of the account and deleted on request after it closes.

Security

Access to the application requires an account and password. We use encrypted connections and limit internal access to information to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
• Use the unsubscribe link in any non-essential email.
• Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing the address below.

Children

LoanBuddies is a business product and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we use text messaging will be communicated to anyone who has opted in.
